Series is comprised of two sub-series and three files.

The first sub-series consists of materials used by and created during meetings of the All Commissions Network, which consisted of representatives of all six education commissions advising the Los Angeles Board of Education, from September 1995 to June 1998. The second sub-series consists of materials used and created during monthly Asian Pacific American Commission meetings from September 1993 to June 1998. Each file is separated by school year (September through June) with the agenda for that month and approved, typed minutes from the previous month. These files generally include supplementary material, such as news clippings, newsletters, memoranda, and reports related to issues affecting Asian American students within the month prior. Some files also include hand-written draft minutes.

The three files collect materials related meetings from other committees, as well as the Los Angeles Board of Education, between 1997 and 1998.
