Scope and Contents
This book compiles the documents from the early history of the Asian American Education Commission, including records from Asian American Studies Central and the Asian American Education Task Force. It contains meeting minutes, correspondence, fliers, and administrative documents from 1970 to 1973, beginning with early planning for the Commission, to its proposal to the Los Angeles Board of Education, to documents from its early years of activity. It includes the proposal document from 1971 as well as the Commission's constitution.
