Contains programs, articles, handwritten notes, correspondence, planning documents, and photographs related to Wong’s activities and any awards or honors that she received or awarded to others. Many of the materials particularly reference her work with the Friends of the Chinatown Library. Printed scans of newspaper articles are provided in the folders and digitized copies are available separately.

This series is processed at the folder level. Contains articles, including photocopied newspaper articles, a program, planning documents, and an email related to activities and organizations that Wong was involved in including the Reachout Committee for the Los Angeles Music Center and the Chinatown branch of Los Angeles Public Library.

Scope and Contents Approximately 250 phonographic records, the majority of which are recordings of Cantonese (Yueju) operas on 10-inch shellac discs. The recordings were produced in the first half of the 20th century in China, England, Germany and the United States, on labels such as Beka, Columbia, Golden Star, Nam Sing and Victor. Another major group of recordings are of Chinese pop music and film soundtracks on 12-inch vinyl LPs from the 1950s to the 1980s and released in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and...
