Biographical / Historical
The Chinese World 世界日報 (not to be confused with World Journal 世界日報) was a daily newspaper in San Francisco. It had its beginnings in 1892 as the Mon Hing Bo (文興日報), moved to Los Angeles briefly after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake before moving back to San Francisco in 1909. An English edition of the newspaper was started in 1949.
